Gord Schaeffer and family moved to Kelowna from Calgary in 1972. He entered the Real Estate Industry in 1982 joining his wife June and forming the “Schaffer Team”, winning many sales awards over the years. In 2001, he discovered there was a need for someone to specialize in the resale of timeshare properties, at which time he became associated with the Royal Host Vacation Club who owned several resorts all over North America, including the Grand Okanagan Resort here in Kelowna. Gord was elected director of the Timeshare Owners Association and subsequently led to him being the President of the Strata Council at the Grand Okanagan Resort. The timeshare resale business continued to expand and for the past few years under the banner of “Timeshares in Canada” becoming the leading time share re-sale Company in Western Canada.
